Our mission is to provide a friendly, relaxed social club. Please come and enjoy a good fellowship with lunch and some traveling together. This program is open to all.<\/p>\n<h5>Meetings<\/h5>\n<p>THE SENIORS WILL <strong>NOT<\/strong> BE MEETING IN JANUARY &amp; FEBRUARY<\/p>\n<p>Held every 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Colden Senior Center at 8811 State Road, Colden, NY.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bring a small dish pass for lunch at Noon. <em>Please call (716) 941-5012 for additional information.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New members are always welcome. Five to Six interesting day bus trips are planned each year plus many informative speakers are invited for regular meetings. Keep checking the Senior Program on the website for updated information.<\/p>\n<h5>Officers for<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Coordinator:<\/strong> Patricia Zurbrick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Transportation<\/h5>\n<p>Rural Transit Service (RTS) is a non-profit transportation service.\u00a0 They provide transportation to senior citizens, low\/moderate income individuals and disabled clients.\u00a0 Eligible residents are transported to dialysis clinics, medical offices, physical therapy, pharmacies, colleges, work places, senior centers, nutrition sites, adult day cares, grocery stores, banks, salons\/barbers, etc., with medical trips taking priority.<\/p>\n<p>The Rural Transit vans run between 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Dispatch must be called 48 hours in advance and up to two weeks in advance for appointments.\u00a0 Individuals may schedule up to two rides per week. On days your local school is closed due to the weather, the Rural Transit van is closed.<\/p>\n<p>Rural Transit riders are not required to contribute for services provided,although donations are accepted and encouraged.
